about

.IMP I am Ignacio Martínez Pardo, an architect trained at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid, where I completed both the Bachelor’s Degree and the Qualifying Master’s Degree in Architecture. I understand architecture as a social and transformative tool, capable of improving the relationship between people and their built, natural, cultural and historical environment.
My approach combines social sensitivity, design rigour and attention to context, with a particular interest in accessibility, sustainability, inclusion and the creation of spaces capable of fostering a sense of belonging. Throughout my academic and professional experience, I have developed a critical and committed perspective, oriented towards producing architecture with a positive impact.
I have collaborated with studios such as Pereda-Pérez Arquitectos, Urko Sánchez Architects, Llps Arquitectos and Israel Alba Estudio, taking part in national and international competitions and projects of different scales. My academic work has been recognised with Honours in Projects V and in my Final Master’s Thesis, ParkTEA, which I later presented at the Cantera event at Casa de la Arquitectura, as well as in lectures at Universidad de Alcalá and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
In 2026, I received the ArchDaily Student Award and my work was published on ArchDaily. These recognitions accompany an architectural practice centred on design research, architectural rigour and a critical understanding of space from the perspective of people.
